This is a nice and convenient subway station in Philadelphia.
It was not busy and the train was on time.

Got off the trolley at 1:15 am and tried to exit but every exit was locked. Lady on the helpline sent “septa police” to help us get out but no one came for 15 + min. We were able to walk underground to city hall and lucky exit by hopping a turnstile. How poorly managed can this city’s public transportation be, that they would have a trolley stop at a completely locked station without a means of exiting? We could have been put in a dangerous situation, had we encountered the wrong person at this hour in this prison of a station.

Yesterday, I found myself walking right next to a former home of Edgar Allen Poe in Philadelphia. Now, today, I will start reading Poe for your problems. It is a tragic story about one of America's greatest poets and writers. Maybe one day my own music will become as popular as Poe's. Stranger things have happened!

The station masters is very helpfull but There is homeless people blocking the turnstiles and pee on the floor be careful of your steps. Septa could be a lot more cleaner.

For once, the station doesn't smell like piss and it's also pretty easy to walk to city hall from here.

It always smell like urine and trash in every corner the subway is filthy and they never stop the people from smoking weed on the trains.

Busy!
With many restaurants offering the "street" dining experience. (Literally sitting at a table in the street to enjoy your favorite cuisine)

I feel this neighborhood is safe and full of life with a diverse culture and many different types of people from all walks of life. This aspect, in combination with the many cuisines that are offered make for a colorful array of smells and tastes that will surely be unforgettable for the first timer.
