Trailways Bus Station - Buffalo, New York

This station is okay but needs lots of work. All the business inside the station are closed. Bathroom has jail like toilets and dirty. Amtrak is 10 times better and more convenient and half of the cost.

We recently took the Trailways bus from Toronto to New York, and I have to say it was a terrible experience. First of all, the driver was incredibly rude the entire trip. We were supposed to arrive at 6:45 AM, but ended up arriving at 9:45 AM! A full three hours late! Also we had to make a transfer at Buffalo which was not announced until we arrived there. This delay caused me to miss important plans, and I had to spend extra money on an Uber.

On top of that, the driver never announced where we were stopping, so it was a guessing game the entire time. The bus was freezing cold, and there was no way to get comfortable for such a long ride. To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi that was supposed to be available didn't work at all.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the service. This experience was beyond frustrating, and I expected much better. Definitely will think twice before using Trailways again.

The bus driver for Buffalo to NYC just didn't show up on NYT813 for one of my trips. The replacement driver arrived so late the bus left two hours past the departure time (12:45am instead of 10:45pm; mind you this is an overnight bus). I was a returning customer for Trailways but won't be after this incident.

We did not leave on time, 8 mins late because the driver waited for late passengers. We used Flixbus 2 days earlier and they were right on time. We shouldn't have to wait for late passengers.

This bus terminal for New York trailways is in downtown Buffalo. It’s a big place which is amply lit and fairly clean. They share the space with Greyhound, Megabus, NFTA Netri and the likes. It has a Tim Horton’s and a convenience store inside the building.

The Trailways Buses are much better than Greyhound buses. Great services, nice drivers, cleaned, free wifi and reasonable price! We should support them to get on the roads! Wish I can do round trips from Toronto.

I approached the ticket counter agent #7346 to request a bag tag. The agent instead of answering the my question in a very rude manner “ did you pay for your bag.” I responded I purchased my ticket online there was no area that linked to a bag payment. Should I be paying for my bag.she kept on talking about the payment of $20.

She commanded me put your bags on the scale I did . I told here you need to be customer friendly. Her response was she doesn’t work with Trailways. As if she have no care.

I would recommend that whenever purchasing your ticket online all information should be there. Including baggage information. I purchased my ticket through greyhound that information was not on the website.

I strongly recommend they provide effective and respectful customer service training to all their team members.
Hostility is customer service. If people are so upset at their jobs, they should stay home and not be mad at the world.

I saw comments here that almost discouraged me from using this business, but I still bought a ticket. My trip and the process went smoothly. Based on my experience, I'd use them again, hoping they don't disappoint me!
