The people on this town council should be brought up on Charges for 100% Stealing this Station away from the Patrons that ride the Train. We no longer have access to Shelter, heat, chairs, or A/C in this town! This is appalling that Amtrak would allow this when our Taxes pay for this Service! Leave the Train Stations to the Train Patrons!

Nice station that is lit up at night, and has plenty of parking (for those who are picking you up). This station would be next level if there was security stationed outside and the building was not a facade, but a building that you can wait inside in until the train or your ride comes. All in all, better station than most in the south/southwest. Some "stations" are just stops with nothing around and not lit up at night. So, Del Rio is pretty cool

Wow! Seven of us went together on a three day getaway from Del Rio Texas to Tucson Arizona and back. I have been on short site seeing train rides, but never a 15 hour ride. It was Great!! Comfortable seating with twice the leg room of the airlines. Nice cafe and awesome views!

I booked a roommette for the first traveling from Dallas to Dacramrnto, the staff in first leg, Marcelo was way above par. I enthusiastically recomd him and his attentiveness. Staff on second leg were unavailable and seemingly disinterested in providing excellent. So there are plusses and minuses. Food was good and all meals come with the price If you have a room. I'm 6 foot tall,and even in a little roommette I could stretch all the way out a let the train rock me like a bab to sleep.

There are bullet holes and broken windows in the back paneling and the supposed "Sitting Area" is in accessible because they took off all the door handles. The most they tried to do was cover the broken glass with thin pieces of taped together paper. Thank goodness the train only stops here 2-5 minutes at a time.
