Two very strong and truly nice gentlemen picked up my rugs. They can back clean and bright. The same gentleman bright them in and put them back in place. I was very satisfied and will continue to use Zakian for my rug care.

Our seven rugs sent to Zakian for repair came back yesterday. I can't tell you how pleased we are with them and the repairs and cleaning. Our rugs were really damaged on the edges and they now look brand new. The delivery guys were so pleasant and helpful. We are elderly and can't handle lifting the rugs. They put them in place for us. We always use Zakian for any of our Karastan and Oriental area rugs. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend Zakian to others.

I brought 2 rugs for cleaning. One of which is no longer available online and both were stained from years of foot traffic, pet hair, food stains, and even cat fecal matter. I was in desperate straits & needed my rugs cleaned while I was away on vacation. This was my first time getting them cleaned! I wasn't sure how it would turn out.

When I came back, my rugs were both looking like new! They told me how they went over some stains repeatedly in order to get them out; something they make clear on the website, is not always possible. But they were able to do it and they clearly paid close attention to detail as their main method of cleaning the rugs involves a large machine. And you know how machines aren't always as thorough as human effort & labor.

Anywhoo this was my first time getting my rugs cleaned & I was quite pleased with the result.

Drop-off was a breeze. You pull into the parking lot at the side of the building, park & call. They will buzz you in through the blue door by the loading dock. It's right there. You can't miss it. The strapping gents working there helped me carry my rugs up. I got a little discount for having brought my rugs in for drop-off & for picking it up when it was done, so if you're looking for a cost efficient way of getting your rugs cleaned, try & transport them there yourself. You are expected to pay at drop-off.

Upon pick-up, they were kind enough to let me open my rugs on the sales floor to check & see if there was anything missed. The contrast of before and after can be seen in the photos I uploaded.

10/10 would go there again.

I can tell the staff work hard and take pride in their results. When I picked up, they were just getting back in the swing of it as some ppl were out on vacation & things had got backed up a bit. I was not in a rush & was overall very pleased with the customer care I recieved.

They were great start to finish. Picked it up. I got calls from them- updates on it, able to answer questions about the rug. I found them to be honest and upfront on its needs! I also reassured that it was a rug worth putting the money and time into. Antique things need love and attention. It was dropped off. The guys were ready to put it down but I needed to deal with the furniture in place.

Zakian’s came through FTW! My carpet has had a long and eventful life, having been subjected to wine stains, the soiling of my dogs, and the abuse of my 6 year old nephew. Zakian’s did a very nice job! They are a quality organization that stands behind their rug service. The people who work for Zakian’s are very nice and courteous too. The fringe on the rug I was having cleaned was worn. They called and asked if I wanted new fringe or to get the fringe removed and the rug edges bound. I chose the latter. They did a beautiful job. I highly recommend Zakian’s.

Do NOT take your oriental rugs here. They had my rugs for over 6 weeks because I had to keep sending them back. Every time they returned them, I would vacuum them and have a PILE of dirt in my vacuum from EACH rug. The final time, I displayed by brand clean vacuum cannister to the delivery crew and then vacuumed a portion of one rug while they watched. They couldn't believe the dirt. The son has taken over and is not running the business properly. Picture shows dirt piles vacuumed from each of the rugs after one of the returns. They agreed to refund my $1300 plus, however, my rugs are now falling apart (fringes are literally disintegrating and I have an excess amount of fibers in my vacuum after vacuuming), and there are permanent creases in the rugs. They have destroyed them. $1300 will not cover the cost to replace even one of the rugs. Beware!
