I love this station. I took the train to Seattle in the bedroom private car. It was great. You have your own bathroom with a shower & get your meals included. It is a bit pricey but the experience is so worth it. Couch turns into a decently comfortable bed. I would definitely do this again!

2 Second time I’m trying the Amtrak, definitely take a mask with you people take their shoes and it’s smells. Make sure you take a lot of snacks even food because to make a reservation at the Amtrak train is the hardest thing.

I went twice to ask how I can get reservations and with a little bit of attitude I will called he said I will called i waited till he called and he told me that he is fully booked we’re only 4 tables eating and the train is not that crowded anyway.

The stuff is nice in general they try to help you out and make good jokes and keep the energy going except for the guy at kitchen that I guess he is so busy!

Bravo to those who helped return this historic station into the busy functional transportation hub that it is today. Preserving its original charm and architecture. its been repeatedly used over the years by Hollywood. You will notice it in movie and TV scenes both old and new. It’s a CLASSIC. Even if you’re not traveling, you must see it when visiting Los Angeles.

My husband and I decided to take the train from Atlanta to California to see my son & it was exciting. Just try not to get any lay-overs, but if you do enjoy it as well. Our lay-over was in New Orleans, and we enjoyed every moment. We had our food delivery to the Amtrak station there, and sightseeing every area we were curious about. First time ever riding the train. The views were amazing. Going to sleep wasn't hard at all. The train literally rock you to sleep ?

You will experience four seasons weather difference from LA to Seattle in November. It was so cool!!!
You will find snow outside when the train passes by Oregon state.

Me encantó viajar en el Amtrak, yo subí el la estación Santa Ana, hasta San Diego Ca.
Estación Santa Fe, (hice casi 2 hrs. De caminó, pero el recorrido por las diferentes ciudades te muestra unos paisajes de ensueño que vale la pena recorrer y disfrutar ) en Santa Fe Stations, tuve que cambiar de tren a otro que está a una cuadra caminando 3 minutos, que me llevaría hasta San Ysidro, este hizo máximo 20 minutos, parece mucho subir y bajar pero todo está tan fácil y cerca que para mí fue muy cómodo y económico y bella la experiencia, a diferencia de haber tenido que abordar un Uber que cuesta casi 200 dlls.

A well taken care of station. The Amtrak employees leave something to be desired in the customer service category. As we checked our bags we were informed we only had ten minutes left to check them. The Amtrak lounge was packed full and we rang the doorbell twice after waiting for a good five minutes and we're informed to "only press the bell once"- this being our first time here it was off-putting.
