Brightline Aventura Station - Miami, Florida

We went to the Aventure station instead of Miami station. We had 40 minutes to departure, and guest services were very kind and got us on the train by switching the tickets. We realize it was the same train and seats, but it's the way they handled the situation. Premium seats were worth it. The waiting area had tea, drinks, and food. Was a very pleasant experience. It is so much easier and faster than driving.

This is something we will do more often and especially from Miami to Orlando. I've included some pictures as well.

One of your staff girls in the night shift at the Aventura station who saw me so tired, she offered me coffee and went beyond, and brought it to me.
Very special!!!
I had one of the ugliest moments in my life, and was not only tired but depressed because I had to split up with someone who was the most special person in the world to me!!!

Ok so here’s the deal - I loved everything about riding Brightline from start to finish. Booking was a breeze, ticket scan, security, waiting lounge, announcement to go over, escalators, walkways, platform, train was perfectly on time (and OMG it was TEN minutes from Aventura to FLL like WOW mind blown), ambiance, bathrooms, outlets, WiFi, everything was great. I was so pleasantly surprised and exceeded my expectations (after the wonders of traveling Amtrak from NY to DC and Norfolk, this was reminiscent of the much better experiences in European trains, thank goodness). The whole station in Orlando is just beautiful and fantastic (make time to have a drink at the bar!) Great job. Amazing. BUT…. Here’s the problem. Time and time again, people, including myself, will choose driving because it’s simply cheaper. For people who have electric vehicles, even more so. The only reason I chose Brightline this trip was because I was alone and I got a great deal during one of the sales for $80 round trip to Orlando from aventura. No way it makes sense to pay more (once you factor in gas, tolls, taxi, parking). I absolutely got 3 hours to work and chill, for sure. And that’s why I chose it. But if my family was coming with me, or friends? It just doesn’t make sense. But the train was packed so I guess enough individuals have that same mindset as I did on this trip. People in south Florida probably don’t know how lucky they are to have this. Go go go!

Easy to find place to parking. Nice and clean station with courteous staff. Train was on time and well organized. Fast and comfortable way to arrive to Boca Raton.

I never rode Brightline till I saw ads for the Swiftie Sing-Along Train. I loved it! I hopped on in WPB and off at AVE just in time for the Saturday night T-Swift show. You must have some serious Swifties on your staff because the decorations were absolutely impeccable. I love that we were encouraged to sing but that no one scream-sang like some ppl do at the concert. It was just so friendly and welcoming and I met a lot of really amazing people. Your staff at the Mary Mary bar and gift shop in WPB were just as wonderful as the ones on board. I grabbed a BIG CONCERT souvenir magnet. I would totally do a Swiftie train again! Thank you and please congratulate your staff on an AMAZING experience!

Aventura Station is a step below Miami Station in terms of overall scale and amenities, but it still maintains a very high standard, as expected from the Brightline network. The check-in process is impressively efficient, with swift baggage and boarding pass controls that make the experience seamless.

The waiting area is both welcoming and well-structured, featuring a convenient automated self-service shop that is surprisingly well-stocked and practical for quick purchases. There is also a staffed bar and shop offering alcoholic beverages, where the service is notably fast. Although I didn’t use the bar myself, I sat nearby and observed the staff’s friendliness and efficiency in handling a steady flow of customers.

I highly recommend Brightline as a travel experience. It stands out not only for its convenience and speed but also for its overall reliability in connecting major destinations across the region. In my case, Aventura Station was the departure point for buses to Hard Rock Stadium, and I was able to take full advantage of this service, which was conveniently included in the ticket price.

The station is clean, modern, and welcoming, providing a comfortable environment while waiting for your train or connecting transportation. While it may lack some of the grandeur of Miami Station, Aventura Station still delivers an excellent experience, making it an integral part of a smooth and enjoyable Brightline journey. Highly recommended for travelers seeking efficiency and comfort.

Riding the train takes a lot of stress from my travels. I love the comfort of the train ride, being able to read or just look out the window and rest. The staff has the greatest customer service, and willing to make your travels a beautiful experience. When I reach my destination, I feel relaxed and ready to enjoy the day.
