Heads Up: Slow Charger with Limited Availability at car park

Just a heads up to fellow EV drivers! I recently used a slow charger at [Location]. While it has two charging bases, only one was functional, delivering just 7 kW. This translates to a very long charging time – over five hours in my case.

The limited functionality and slow charging speed made for a frustrating experience.

On the bright side, the car park is conveniently located near town. You can park your car, plug it in, and enjoy a leisurely walk into town while it charges.

Struggling to get a charge with the terrible ecotricity chargers on the M74 being hopeless, pulled off to use this one and found it in a terrible state.
Someone has managed to remove one of the crash protection bars and hide it behind the charger ?
I found the charger completely out of order and it's a good thing too
The emergency stop button is broken (well the shield around the button)
The CCS plug looks like it's been used as a hammer and is chipped and broken and the AC type 2 is completely detached from the plug end.
In fact if they put the power to this unit back on without repairing the plugs someone could be seriously hurt or killed.
I've tried a few of these chargers over the weekend and all were out of action.
Very poor ☹️

This might sound odd, but it's a nice car park: easy to find and free. It can get _very_ busy on market days, so I'd recommend checking in advance...

Fast charger only works with an RFID card, helpfully doesn't tell you this anywhere. We tried on the website and when it wouldn't work I called and was told it needed RFID card. Didn't stop it taking a £75 card authorisation though!! Just annoying!
Slow charge works fine with webpay but obviously only really useful for an overnight stay.

Couldn't start it, quick phone call and they explained the bug on the app, got it working but then couldn't disconnect as the app isn't very intuitive, and couldn't get through on the helpline. Good charge though, although one of the few Charge Place Scotland chargers that cost money!

Great spot, park, walks, toilets and a shop all within a short distance.
Could do with more rapids to bring people down off the motorway.

A nearby petrol station is handy for snacks also public toilets in the park across the road it's a nice little place to charge your car.
