Very ornate nice station. Plenty of seats. Nice fountain across from station. Vending machines but no cafe or canteen near by or in station. Bathrooms old but clean. No easy access to outlets. That would be an easy fix. They had outlets on the far walls but no benches by them. Security guard would not allow you to sit on floor to use the outlet with a computer. Either put seating by the outlets or get electrically strips. Attendants and security personnel were extremely nice and provided excellent service.

Glad to have a connection point from this station coming in on Amtrak from the north. The DART system is literally a track away and it makes it very convenient to hop onto the RED or ORANGE line to various cities in the Dallas / Plano area.

Nice inside. Women's restroom is clean. Security is on the premise. Think he was DPD at the security desk by the door. Plenty of Dallas police outside driving by. Good AC, cheap vending machines while you wait.

The lady employe was very rude and would let my son ride the train because SHE put the wrong birthday in the system. I then purchased another ticket online and she called it. She then cursed at my wife to push her into a physical altercation in front of a building full of customers. Very unprofessional and completely unsatisfied from amtrak service at the dallas location.

Where do I even start !!!!I don’t see how this place has as many stars as it does. This train station/ dart is a poor representation of Dallas .

For those who are traveling through Amtrak, I would avoid this station at all cost! This train station has been over taken by the homeless population. The security here are lazy and did not make feel safe. The security here will allow the visible homeless people into the building and actively harass guest .

Both restrooms are disgusting . The men’s restrooms is missing a door meaning that if you’re walking pass the men’s restrooms to get to the women’s .. you will see full view of men using the restroom!

Formerly the Dallas Unino Station - now the Eddie Bernice Johnson Union Station is the third busiest Amtrak Station in Texas. The Station opened in October 1916. It was added to the National Registry of Historic Places May29, 1975.
Designed by Architect Jarvis Hunt who was a Chicago Architect with many railroad stations, industrial buildings and suburban estate among many of his fabulous works. 1863-1941.

The staff were so kind and helpful and the station is so clean. I am really impressed. Literally everyone checked on me to see if I was ok and needed help. Top notch!

Went on a mini vacation with our 5 year old grandson. We were waiting on an amtrak bus to take us home when two security employees got in a verbal altercation. The female employee was constantly droping f bombs as loud as she could in front of everyone including my grandson and several other kids. I asked for her name and was told they would handle it and refused to say who she was . I recommend you get off in Fortworth and avoid this place. Occured 6/25/24 around 2 pm. They have a tough job dealing with the homeless situation but they need to get this sorted out .
