I arrived at this station approx. 3:45pm. Overall, the station is pleasant to the eye. It's spacious and has lots of seating and clean restrooms. There was no personnel in the booth. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable because the station itself is by the highway with not much around.

The new downtown Buffalo Exchange Street Amtrak station is stunning and a big improvement from the old one. Amazing job and I love the way they design inside the building, and also finally a high floor platform so you can easy hop on/off the trains easier and quicker. What I love they have 716 theme snack bar stand. Check them out!

This station is definitely new and clean. It’s not a busy, there are just 4 trains a day, 1 to Toronto and 3 to New York. There is a pickup place and lovely buffalo in front of the station building. It is possible to hide in there when the weather is not good - raining, snowing.

Yes, it exists! Open daily 3:30 am- 11 pm. Very clean, bright. Has bathrooms. A cute little rail station. I thought I would have to use the Depew station, but this was closer to the Southtowns.

There were no staff when I got to the station, and then they closed the station and kicked me out on the street with no bathroom for a while night while I waited for my train. Otherwise, it was really nice. Station was clean, nice bathrooms, and staff helped me get my bike on the train.

I am appreciative of the location but wish there was more to it.

I hate greyhound, so if I'm going anywhere that's not long enough for a plane ride, I'm catching the Amtrak. The train is very spacious and their outlets usually work. I also appreciate that they can scan my ticket on my phone rather than printing it out. The ppl on the trains are nice and willing to answer questions.

But this location is lacking. There are bathrooms, 1 vending machine for snacks, and 1 vending machine for drinks. You'll be lucky if someone is actually at the booth. The hours are not consistent with the train schedules so you are lucky if the inside is open. Which is horrible, especially due to the location of the station and the fact that Buffalo is usually cold. I don't understand why they arent open 24hrs. Or at least during the hours of departure and arrival.

Amtrak cancelled my trip less than 24hr before boarding the train. Now I have to find another way to get to my destination, which I have to scrabble now and spit out extra money because Amtrak won't refund my money right there and then. No 24hr customer service to talk with a representative, just an automated machine rambling on. My first and last experience with Amtrak...

Normally I love Amtrak and trains. But I spent a lot of $ on the viewliner roomette car. Was disappointed, the conductor was rude, room was old and outdated with stained pillows, not a lot of room. 33$ for coach compared to 300$ for the roomette. Not worth it
