Ville très étendu, il y fait très chaud en été, le centre ville est minuscule.

I haven't traveled by train often, but this station is clean, and feels safe as a solo female traveler taking a later evening train. I saw a woman out front who asked me for a cigarette. Unfortunately for her, I don't smoke so I turned her down and went inside. About 20 minutes later she came in and I heard staff assisting her with a medical episode and getting the help she needs. They could have turned her away. They could have done a lot less. They treated her with kindness, patience, and grace. It wasn't made into an event or specifical. I am thoroughly impressed with the service of the folks working here. $3.50 is too much for bottled water, and that is literally my only issue.

I love riding w amtrack trains but the customer service has gotten progressively worse at the Fresno station. I just got off a greyhound bus because I lost my train transfer in Bakersfield, and once I made it to Fresno 3 hours later than expected the greyhound station was closed so I went into amtrack as I have many times. I showed the older African American woman behind the desk my bus ticket and asked if my brother could please use the restroom as he was feeling sick after a long hot bus ride and is an epileptic. She said no because greyhound company doesn't allow amtrack customers to use their restroom. I said that's not my fault you guys treat yourselves like that, shocked at her answer... I felt bad for my brother though so I asked if she could please be a human for a minute. She said no with a smirk... like I said, I like amtrack trains but just because our city is trashy doesn't mean your personnel has to be too, Amtrack. Disappointed

The inside of the station is clean, with air conditioner, clean benches and clean bathrooms (you do have to ask them to unlock the bathrooms as they are for customers only). The outside of the station is a whole different story, dirty benches, trash on the floor and homeless people roaming around or sleeping on the benches. As for the customer service, from what I witnessed from seeing other customers in line, the customer service is as unpredictable as a lady's mood lol, it seems as if you are in a good mood and are nice to them you'll get the same treatment back but if you are moody and complaining you best believe they won't have much tolerance. So I suggest walking in those doors with your best actitud lol

Everything is always great until someone uses the bathroom. Every time I ride the Amtrak it smells ? the smells will linger post (assuming bathroom usage) and you’ll be startle by the smell. It’s disgusting-gagging especially in the middle of eating or drinking coffee. This is from sitting upstairs in coach.

A great transit city to Yosemite National Park. I took the train from Richmond to here. Very Latino style design town and station

This station is stylish and represents a bygone era of Fresno railroading, and there are some old photos and interesting newspapers on California Railroading in the building, but this station has NO outlets. This is a huge problem for people who have a long layover here like I do. Otherwise, it’s a good station.

Update: I originally gave this station 4 stars, but I am demoting it to 3 just on the absurdity that this station has no outlets. I went to an Amtrak station in the middle of nowhere in Indiana, which gets hardly any riders and hardly any trains, and the station was closed, but there were still chargers on the outside of the station for people to use! The fact that this station, one of the most used in California, has no chargers is just a joke.

Rode the greyhound and was hoping to use the restroom to wash my hands. Everything at the train station on the greyhound side was locked off and we had to go around to go inside. When we went to the restroom the attendant didn’t let us in because we were riding with the Greyhound. I understand it’s their policy but it’s sad to see such pettyness towards folks who simply need to use the restroom
