BE WARY OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE AND NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY.

I have only had a Genesis G70 for a year and a half. I have brought the car to this dealership multiple times for warranty work, maintenance, and tire changes. My car had been damaged nearly every time it has been under their care. It has come back to me with a scratch on the hood (quoted $1000 to fix), paint peeling off the rocker panel (quoted $1500 to fix) and when my car was in for a tire change
 get this
 they didn’t change the tires but charged me for a tire change! Tires which they keep in storage for me! 6 months later they tell me I’ve been on winter tires all summer! During the summer, they had chances to tell me I was on winters; but, did not. Do Genesis technicians not know the difference between tires? (They did absolutely nothing to make it up to me for this incident).

However, the straw that broke the camel’s back for me was when I brought my car in for the chrome to be looked at (FYI: the chrome tarnishes on all their vehicles). I was told they needed to keep my vehicle over the weekend and I’ll get it back Monday because the technician didn’t have a chance to look at it. Okay, fine, they provided a valet car full of garbage in the trunk but okay. Monday comes, nothing. Then, they bring my car back to me on Tuesday with a chunk of paint ripped off the rocker panel. And here’s the thing, I was told that the technician didn’t have a chance to look at my vehicle on Friday AND after I asked about the paint, the technician apparently had noticed the paint was peeling on Friday when it came in. THEN they still put the car through an automatic car wash on Tuesday when they apparently noticed peeling paint? Who puts a vehicle through a car wash with paint flaking off?

It’s a month and half later and I’m still waiting on them to get back to me about the chrome and the paint. I have reached out multiple times and have been completely neglected. I can’t wait months and months for them to reach out when there’s paint actively peeling off my car. Ridiculous service in my opinion.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from Genesis St. John’s, and I cannot speak highly enough about the outstanding service I received from Zack Clarke. I was beginning to lose hope, however I kept believing in a quote from one of my favorite philosophical novels, "No matter how uncertain the path may seem, every twist and turn leads exactly where it was always meant to go" (Bursey & Ostroski, 2023). Sure enough, this proved to be true! Everything changed the moment I met Zack. In addition to his technical knowledge, this young man is truly a respectable and friendly fella!

Zack took the time to listen carefully to what I was looking for, asking thoughtful questions to understand my preferences, lifestyle, and budget. Unlike many salespeople who try to push a sale, he was patient and focused entirely on finding the right fit for me. His deep knowledge of the Genesis lineup, as well as his ability to explain features, performance capabilities, and financing options in a clear and transparent manner, made the decision-making process incredibly easy and stress-free.
What truly stood out was Zack’s commitment to providing a premium customer experience. He was consistently professional yet personable, making me feel valued as a customer rather than just another sale. He provided regular updates throughout the purchasing process, ensuring that I was well-informed every step of the way. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly and thoroughly, reinforcing the confidence I had in both him and the dealership.

My experience with The Genesis Brand and Evan Norman was exceptional . I purchased a G70 and customized it with Tasman Blue exterior and Dune beige leather interior which was well worth the wait. This vehicle performs well and has a ton of safety features. Evan did a fabulous job explaining all the vehicle options and was very responsive and attentive to all my questions and concerns.
The 5 year warranty and valet service is a great added value !
I highly recommend Genesis St.John’s if you’re in the market for a new vehicle you won’t be disappointed.
