Wow! Literally just finished the halloumi veggie sammy (omg!!! Amazing!!) And the veggie stew (rich, complex, yummy!). So excited to have something like this close by. Excellent and friendly service. The pineapple ginger juice was refreshing and crisp. Highly recommend!

Tried Mama Africa with my parents today. It was overall the best dining experience we've collectively had in a long time. The lady at who served us was wonderful. She took the time to go through each menu item, how it's made, where it originates. Really got the whole experience and the food was absolutely amazing, different from what we are used to but an layered explosion of flavors that hits in all the right ways. We will be back.

I had the Yass King burger and poutine.
Both were very very flavourful - the marinade on the chicken was excellent.
Also: the lady working the cash/front counter was super friendly and made suggestions about the menu. She even asked if I had any allergies!!
Pricing was right around what I would expect to pay for lunch

I met Geneviece today ( first time customer) who clearly explained the menu and their cooking styles. She was very passionate about her place and food and it resonated 100% in the food !!! I had the Merguez sandwich. Every bit of it was spectacular from the baguette to the sauce and vegetables. Mostly the sausage!!!! Can’t wait to try more.

Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. The man behind the counter was super friendly and did an excellent job discussing the menu as well. If you're nearby you have to try it!

Delicious! First time trying west African cuisine, so we tried three different dishes between us and all were so good!! Thieboudienne, mafé, and the merguez sandwich. So tasty and flavourful. The bissap and baobab juice were also so refreshing.
