They didn't leave the light on for us like they said they would.
It was very discomforting. I really thought that when they say they leave the light on, they leave the light on. The room was dark and I had to turn the light on myself. There is even a large neon sign at the hotel entrance that says "We'll leave the light on for you"... but they certainly did NOT. The location is great though to get to the casino close by, so I gave them 3 stars but the light situation? -- less stars. At first I simply thought they forgot to pay their electric bill but nope. Light simply not left on for us like it was supposed to be. Disappointing.

Hello. My name is Antwanette Sconiers. Complaint ref#GR5XGCLH. I unfortunately had to file a claim regarding the condition of your rooms located on the 1st floor as well as the VERY rude service from your front desk named "Carrie". The Manager there said Carrie has a large number of complaints against her. She commented to me saying "she doesn't want to be at work dealing with THESE PEOPLE". I asked her what she meant by that statement. Her reply shocked me. She replied "All the guests in the motel". 1 replied back to her, "YOU DO REALIZE THAT I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE". This happened on my first stay there. Unfortunately, my recent stay (7/23 - 7/26) was the worst! The first room I was given smelled terribly like cigarette smoke. The next room she assigned me had roaches in the room and bathroom. The 3rd and last room I was given had a huge stain on floor from a dogs foot print looking like excrement. In the shower there were dog hairs everywhere and smelled like a dog was in the bathroom/shower
Please understand, I work at a nearby resort and quite often refer guests to stay at your Motel 6 when we are booked. This is because all my past stays there, the rooms were clean and smelled very welcoming! On this last stay, my team and I referred guests to your place of business. There were 3 rooms of guests filled. We referred them there because we had a Theater performance that night and had no availability was left at our Resort). They mentioned to me later they were having issues with Carries' attitude and lack of concern to be helping them or not wanting to be at work.
do stay there because it is normally clean and the ladies at night are friendly and eagerly to assist with the process.

I tried to rent a room yesterday and was told I was placed on a DNR ( do not return) list because the Manager said that there was urine on the mattress and that the mattress had to be completely replaced which was a complete lie!! They assumed I did it because I was the last person in that room but I didn't. I wasn't shown any proof or evidence of what I was accused of. To make matters worse they said it occurred in June when I was last in the room, I was never notified of any damage done to the property/room. I just found out that I was blamed for something I didn't do a day prior to me posting this. I suspect that the mattress was damaged beyond repair from people with dogs and pets from previous stays and it was identified after I left the room thus management placing the blame on me. They do not clean their bedding after each client I suspect, so housekeeping discovered a mattress stained with old urine spots once they finally decided to change the fitted sheet . This is unacceptable and I'm in the process of calling the health department after finding that I was laying on a mattress with old urine stains according to management when I spoke to them regarding this issue. People check the bedding and mattress before you lay on them as this motel is very filthy and unkempt.

Please ? pay attention to all of the bad reviews. I read them before my stay and still gave this Motel 6 the benefit of the doubt. To this day, I can not reach management and have been banned from this hotel because I, too, complained to corporate. #GRS7YML3 OR GR7Y5WNC. My stay started with them giving my reserved room to someone else and charging me for it. I was charged a second time for a room that my girlfriend and I found out the hard way was occupied by startling the occupant and us. The third room smelled, and we couldn't sleep for fear of another customer walking in on us. We were followed in the parking lot early in the morning after visiting the casino. Not only will I NEVER stay there again, but I will actively let people know of my continued experience.

No fridge or microwave. Floor was coated with something that made me feel like I was walking on grease or grime but the room was clean so I figure it was some kind of cleaning chemical residue. Good alternative to the casino hotel. Very close to Casino. Great service and friendly staff.

This is a 2 star hotel at best. I was very disappointed that it has a 4 star rating. This I why I am here to set the record straight. My room smelled like urine. And I had to leave to find a better place to stay. I am not a person to complain, but it should not be classified as 4 stars.

Checked in No Problem paid Cash and put down $100 Deposit. The next morning I extended my stay for 1 more nite. NO issues. Shortly after I paid for next nite I received a pounding loud nock on my door, it was the relief manager or Assistant manager/ Clerk stating I had to check out as it's check out time, I informed her I paid another nite, she said we'll it says here you don't and need to check out, I told her I can go and find the receipt she said yes please do, then was radio'd by manager that I did extend my stay 1 more nite. The person banging on my door was the same Assistant Manager &/or Clerk that was in Charge This morning, decided to not give back my $100 Security Deposit. At Check-out stated that my Friend that Checked out of his room the prior day had Smoked in his room. Then shortly after he checked out came into my room for Approximately 2 hrs. He had received his $100 deposit, when He checked out. She would not give me a reason for my violation, that warrented her not returning my deposit, as I wasn't responsible for anything my friend did or didn't do in his own Room. She told me I was also Banned from this Motel 6, I don't understand why I was banned or my security deposit was not given back to me. I did not smoke in my room ... I will make sure to write corporate and to put a review on every site or app this location is listed on for booking IN hopes to save other people from being ROBBED THIER DEPOSIT.

This place is convenient, cheap, clean, great air conditioning, beds are so so but not horrible. Staff was nice and professional. Only downside is no fridge in the rooms.
