I've been taking lessons here since the beginning of this year, and can say without a doubt it is one of my favorite days of the week!

I feel like I'm really on a path to learning to play both piano and guitar, and have this great place to thank for it. I feel very fortunate to have Rowan helping me on my journey! Amazing teacher & person! Patient, and definitely a passion for music!

Wonderful shop for picking up an instrument or anything music related, and great staff.

I’d give it 6 stars if there was that option, amazing store, the most underrated Musical Instrument Shop in Newfoundland like how have I not heard or been to this place before? Went here on a Sunday, they had a lot of Left Handed guitars and nice Left Hand bass there, they are the only place in town that carries in the Cort Guitar brand, lots of Ibanez and good quality Guitars that are extremely nice and aesthetic, prices are unbeatable compared to Long & McQuade and Reid Music, nothing is over 1000$ at the Music Collection, I was shopping for a Left Hand bass and I was thinking about the Cort Left hand 24 fret bass at the time they had it in stock, and then we looked at their website and saw the Ibanez, guy at front desk was friendly and helpful and got us to order a 22 fret Ibanez GSR200BL-WNF Electric Bass 4 String LH Walnut Flat, for 391.99, before tax, 450$ taxes in, overall great underrated gem in town and best for beginners, also did I forget to mention? (the east end location is the only musical instrument store in the province to stay open 1-5 on Sundays) yes you don’t have to worry about wasting Sunday away and waiting till Monday just to shop for Musical Instruments

I recently returned from shopping for ballet shoes for my 3 year old at the Torbay Rd location. What a disappointment, very poor customer service. A smile of some sort could of been used. I realize maybe your shift ran over. However, it will be my last visit. The only reason I went through with the purchase was because I could not find the size else where. I don't know if the attendant was the owner or not. But, you really need to improve on your customer approach. The only friendly person was the gentleman at the cash. Thus, the one star.

Told me there is no refund only store credit. I wasn’t told this when I purchased the items. I was there twice to get a refund saying I’m using the wrong bank card. Asked for the cash where their debit machine wasn’t working properly. Don’t carry cash. Still waiting to hear back from the manager.

Great lessons, I started taking classical guitar here a year and a half ago and now I'm playing Chaconne. They also have tones of instruments, music and all kinds of musical accessories. As for the dance part I can't speak but the other customers look happy.

I really dislike this store. I have been going there for music books and supplies for my kids instruments for the past ten years. The staff have been rude on more than one occasion. They seem not to want to serve you for “small” purchases. Recently I went in to buy reeds for my son’s alto sax and the man behind the counter sold me clarinet reeds. My poor kid was frustrated by his poor sound until the band teacher figured it out! Their frequent buyer system is a joke - I had mis-placed my card and got a second one, but when I found the first they would not let me combine the points I’d earned (and not like it’s a very good deal - you have to spend hundreds to get a measly $10 bucks back). I’m driving across town for all my music needs from now on.
