Our train made a quick stop here. Smells absolutely horrible inside the station. It smells like a restroom. The floor is dirty and sticky. The chairs are dirty. It was over 100 degrees outside but many customers stood out there to wait for the train instead of going inside.

I was so stressed because I got the wrong ticket date but Jacob and my bus driver, made the experience so stressful and easy. I was able to get on my correct bus and my driver made sure to not leave without checking in on me first. Thank you to the workers of Amtrak!

Very very rough. Evidently the AC is broken? - they have brought in big portable units (which is good). The receptionist area is boarded up with a small window only to talk to the person in there. Outside, between the tracks and the building, it is roped off to a small walking aisle and looks very dirty/run down. As the train leaves to the east, it passes a terribly filthy junkyard of a homeless camp. I'm glad to leave Stockton.

I was indeed safe for my wait, and the arrival and boarding of the Amtrak train was fine. It's just that awful building and area.

If you live in Stockton you would know this is the perfect location for Amtrak to run. Homeless is everywhere here in Stockton and very big in the downtown area. The station was clean and the staff were very helpful with everything I needed. However the staff on the trains weren’t all that friendly. The round trip to Emeryville was horrible, getting dropped off in town and no longer at the Pier was a horrible experience. Being dropped off and picked up at the Pier made things so much easier.

Literally every time I have to depart or arrive this station it’s super annoying. Homeless and druggies all over the outside platform asking for money or to use your phone. Some even do it inside the station. Staff stay behind glass. Amtrak police need a permanent presence here. It’s a fairly busy station. They need to bring back the morning Amtrak train to Lodi and Sacramento that passes through the ACE station.

Staff is friendly and always willing to help. The train stage area is nicely done for boarding and unloading. However the inside could use a major remodel. Hopefully they remodel the inside. Beyond this it’s not that bad of a station.

I go to this station almost every weekend. As a young small woman I have not felt unsafe at this station at any time. However, I have only used this Amtrack station during the day.

The workers here are very helpful, light hearted, and work very hard. I have not been harassed by anyone at any time. It is like any other train or bart station, you often leave fairly quickly anyways.

The station style kinda reminds me of an old station from the 1900s.
The surrounding areas are a little run down but quiet.
