Pedro did an impromptu cover-up for me when I was at home for a visit. I had gotten a tattoo from a friend who was an apprentice several years ago, and it was not great, plus in a very visible spot. Contacted this shop and was very grateful Pedro had a cancelation. I sent him a picture of my laser lightened tattoo and an idea of what I was looking for. What he drew was amazing! We talked about colours when I got there and he was very nice and respectful of my input-unlike many other tattoo shops I've visited. The result is so much better than I could have dreamed! Thanks so much for the beautiful artwork that I'm proud to show off!

My mom and I came here on our trip to Newfoundland to get commemorative tattoos and it was a fantastic experience! The shop is very clean and welcoming, and there were great spaces for each artist. Sean worked with us to get the perfect design and placement. The appointment went by in the blink of an eye, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We would definitely recommend coming here for tattoos.

I had the absolute best experience with Taylor Pollard as my artist. I couldn't be happier with how well her fine line work captured my mermaid tattoo perfectly. I only visit my home, St. John's NL every few years as I live on the mainland now, but I have a feeling all my ink will now be happening whenever I'm home. Thank you Taylor. Your talent and refreshing nature surfacing as we talked, was worth every dime and every second of waiting to be tattooed by you!

Chris on the Master Piercings side of Studio maxx did my 8 year olds lobes today. She was a bit scarred but determined to go through with it. Chris talked her through it with a few stories and got her smiling. Would recommend to anyone with kids looking for there first piercing. But let the kids make the choice man! Priced vary fairly compared to some other locations around town.

I had a great experience. It was my first tattoo, and I was very nervous, not knowing what to expect. Mike reassured me that everything would be okay. He helped create something that was very meaningful. It's a start and I can't wait to see the finished product! I would defiantly recommend Studio MAXX, especially Mike:)

Popped in for a travel souvenir and was not disappointed. Everyone in the shop was friendly, the shop was super clean, and Adam drew up exactly what I wanted!
