They wanted me to hand them my bank card to pay for gas. I said No I don't hand anyone. My bank card to anyone and then he called me dirty and told me to get out and I said, no, no, you're dirty. He gave me the finger. This gas station is not good. Do not go here, they're very racist. And they try to steal money from everyone

Stopped by as I was running low on petrol and had to use the bathroom (16 hour drive, could only clench for so long).

The man working on the inside was nice at first but quickly became belligerent when I asked him what time it was. Maybe he forgot his watch. I told him I hope he had a better day and he said ok.

On my way out he hit another customer’s dog. Like, kinda hard. I hope the dog is okay. I don’t condone animal cruelty.

For this I give the man 2 stars.

EDIT: If you don't sell lotto, why do you have a lotto max and 6/49 sign? False advertisement, take down your fake sign. You can see it in my photo hence the reason why i came over.

As I laid my sights upon this gas station from Best Buy, I was certain my "best buy" was lotto tickers. So I swiftly cross the intersection, itidimated by the oncoming barage of signs... What do I see?

-3 NO public washroom signs
-1 no banging or harsh violence sign
-1 gone to hospital sign
-only debit NO cash sign
-only 1 person in the shop at a time (PS this includes your kids not being allowed, read the reviews)

Awkwardly I stood and attempted once, twice to let myself in.. Alas there was no door opening tonight, no red carpet, no moving the fellow gas attendees to tears due to being no more good folks nowadays where I myself COULD OF BEEN... I spot a follow worker behind the till, so without spooking the fellow, I timidly walk to the front window he rests upon and wave lightly to get his attention.

BUT ALAS, he points up, praying to the ceiling above to hope I myself, a scary beast like me, gets away from this 40 year proud running business that keeps ranting how great their ice cream in copy and paste 10 dollar paid per hour texts. So I retreat not to disturb the peaceful station which is clearly, the scummish, rubbish, bad tasting non-existent ice cream no red carpet moving to tears tragedy.

Update Oct 30, 2024: The City of Calgary and Service Alberta had found multiple complaint files against this business. It is now being redirected to the Calgary Police as the business was determined to be conducting criminal activities.

Scam. They scam your money by not refunding the gas that you didn't fill up. This is illegal. I just reported the business under Business Safety - Business Licence Concern to the city of Calgary. Peace Officers will be in touch with 10 days. I will keep updating the status here. I was a customer of theirs. I was not trespassing unlike what the owner's saying down there in his response. I have noticed that many have complained the same. And they are all legitimate complaints. They're not fake. The owner is actually the only fake one on this review board. I have only been to this place once to get gas. And cannot believe this place exists. The City of Calgary will be in touch soon. Anyone out there do not believe in this business's lies. They need to learn their lesson and stop the scams. Our city do not welcome businesses like this. Do an honest business!

The owner of this establishment is a scam artist. He tried to tell me that it was $25 a package for cigarettes. I'm not that stupid!
Do not recommend at all. I am a person with a disability.And I think he thought he could try and get more money out of me which is very unethical!

Never have I ever experienced such a lack of customer service.
The owner was extremely rude, he threw a pack of chips at me and told me to go back to my country. (I am a white immigrant).
I asked politely for a receipt for tax purposes (since I am a business owner)...well, another pack of Lays was on its way.
What can I say? You can go there and try your luck if you want as a customer. Peace

Guy says they take cash only - no credit card or debit.
Went there 01/16 at 330pm . The guy had a note on the door saying he had to go to the hospital, I was in my vehicle trying to find another gas station nearby and then noticed the employee ( middle aged man in winter jacket and hat) was outside helping a family put air in their tires. After he went inside the locked doors, another woman followed so I got out of my vehicle and went inside. I said I dont know how much gas I need as it's a rental, employee told me no debit or credit, cash only. I went to my vehicle as soon as I walked out and wrote this review. People don't need to divulge information because you don't agree with the review. Showing your attitude and response to my review, I won't be visiting again.

(TRUE REVIEW ALERT) Update: Answering this guy’s question about my legitimacy, I visited this place on Friday 17th, around 3:20PM and just wanted to purchase gas after I had dropped off a customer at the Costco next door. And he turned me down saying they don’t sell gas to Uber drivers. Notice how he never denies it. I’m not a paid reviewer. And all the abusive language and insults this establishment has hurled towards me as a response to my post just demonstrates their culture. I’m not going to stoop so low as to respond to that.

Original Post: This is a really shady business establishment. I saw that there was a pay inside sign on the pump and was about to head inside when the guy in the store rushed outside and told me that they don’t sell gas to Uber drivers as it’s company policy. It was as if he didn’t want me enter the store at all and was very rude as well. You cannot refuse to sell gas to someone based on their profession in Alberta, Canada, because it would violate the Alberta Human Rights Act. I could literally sue you for this. Calgary Law enforcement must really look into this establishment. Too many red flags.
