It's a nice place with great chicken. Less 2 stars for the obvious service difference between light and dark skinned. Be kind to our fellow humans. Our light skinned family deserves the same respect when contributing to your store. Especially those who CHOSE to support our indigenous run business'. Not just a one off day, I come in daily and it is the same. Do better.

I like that the store is clean both inside and outside. The staff is always very friendly. My only issue was the long line and the slush tasted stale but oh well. They're always so busy im not gonna complain. They carry a really awesome assortment of fireworks so if your looking for any go here.

I always receive exceptional, friendly service from the staff at this location! From the full service gas to the cashiers, and the lady at Chester Fried Chicken next door always gives me a warm hello and asks how I'm doing. Definitely a great sense of community every time I come in, plus they have a pretty impressive slurpee selection 😉

Hey, to the guy asking why they couldn't sell him non-treaty smokes, it's not because they were being racist, like you said right out loud here. They need to purchase cigarettes from vendors and pay the taxes on them for resell, and then purchase separate ones that aren't taxed. The non-taxed ones have a different band on them indicating they aren't taxed. Since the store caters mostly to Status Indians, it makes sense they wouldn't have as many taxed cigarettes as non-taxed ones. If they ran out of non-taxed ones and someone with Status wanted to buy them, that person would have to pay the taxes despite having Status. The taxes are also built into the price, and they can't just add an amount to make up for those taxes, so they legally can't sell those to you. Plus since you're not treaty, there's no reason you can't stop at any of the non-treaty gas stations nearby and buy your carton there. The Co-op one is only a block away.

You could have asked the person standing in front of you holding the non-taxed cigarettes about this, btw. Or one of the many "First Nations people you work with on a daily basis"... although I feel sorry for them if you are the kind of person to start yelling "racism" just because you didn't understand or know something about how this system works.

I went and got gasoline, and there was this chubby boy with glasses on and he spilled gasoline on the side of my car. Damaging the outer interior of my car, I tried calling Feb 3 2024 and there was no manager/supervisor to make a formal complaint. Instead I get a incompetent female teenager on the phone to tell me no one is in until Monday! Who in the right mind will leave underage minors work without a higher up watching them. Now I have to wait Monday? No,no. I'll make this public for people to see what establishment they are running.
