For a pawn shop, they don’t want to negotiate at all
. There was a game that has been there for nearly a year that was overpriced but asked them to drop it from $24.99 to $20.00. They dropped it $22.50 and said final sale
with no guarantee it will work. Absolutely ridiculous! They think they are a game store, but they are not. Retail prices with no room to negotiate and max 1 day guarantee
. If you’re looking for games, at a good price with a great guarantee, go across the street to Games Exchange where they treat you well, better pricing, and guarantee their product!

P.S. To Traders ownership and employees
6 months ago this would have been a 5 star review
 what happened
so sad. I can change this review
. It’s not too late to redeem yourselves.

Terrible. Went to sell a dishwasher we paid over $500 dollars for and the offered us $75. When we said "no WAy thats way too low" the staff started yelling at me in whatever damn language he speaks. I also bought a record player from them which later i found out it was broken. Brought it back and told them it was broken just to find it back on the sales floor for the next sucker to buy. Terrible customer service, terrible staff and overall just a terrible business.

If your buying this is the place to go. If your selling expect to get very little for what your item is. Got a few nice deals here. Carries music equipment stereos ipods camera lens and games. Plus more. Bought this Austin guitar for 57 bucks a surprising good deal. Looked like it came from one store right to traders as there was plastic on the pick guard still.

They ask you to leave your bag at the front. Avoid if you don't drive.

Very insulting staff and Manager Joe is no better! Told me I needed to leave a $4 pack of speaker wire over at the cash because I might steal it! Way to go! Never have I been so insulted in a store. Will never shop there again!

Cool spot, had good prices. Was quite surprised though that after offering to buy $500 worth of items off them that was old stock that they wouldn’t work a deal though. Would’ve spent a ton more money if they were open to negotiation.

I’m a reseller myself and seeing the prices at this store was absolutely ridiculous. They sell things that are greatly over the resell value. It was pretty funny to see the sheer amount of things that were going for 3 times the actual value, not to mention they will lowball you. That’s normal for these shops, but they complain about not selling things despite charging once again, 3 times the price of value. The whole point is to buy things and refurbish them for a profit, BUT THEY DON’T FIX ANYTHING. I saw instruments that were just left damaged being sold for twice the value, absolutely ridiculous lol. You’re better off going on marketplace or kijiji because at least there the prices are decent.

I decided to drop in earlier this evening for a quick browse. After finding a couple of items that interested me, I went up to pay for my merchandise and, after serving the customer in front of me, the clerk strolled off and went in the back (in full view of myself and at least two other customers) and proceeded to ignore us while he chatted with another employee.
After waiting 8 (count 'em, eight) minutes without the clerk returning (in a store that wasn't especially busy at the time) I finally had enough, left the items on the counter and departed without purchasing anything. If I didn't know better I'd almost swear that they were waiting for me to leave.

It would be easy to blame the clerk for this awful service, but it's been my experience that management are more likely to blame in situations like this due to inadequate training and pay. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time or money in this lacklustre business, particularly as they obviously have better things to do than serve customers.
