A Denver classic! Both beautiful and functional. Took the train from the airport for $10. Clean trains and nice ride to view a variety of neighborhoods. Light rails or going the distance. The station itself is vibrant with life. Good places to eat, grab a coffee-drink. Little shop too. You don’t want to miss this iconic place even if you don’t need to ride.

One of the most unique train stations I've ever been in. It was absolutely beautiful both inside and out. A hub for transportation to and from downtown but so much more. $9 will get you to the airport or from the airport to union station. Coming from the airport and going to it the train to/from union station was my choice. The shops and food and bars inside are all really nice. Happy hour specials on both food and drinks was available at Union station bar. I enjoyed hanging out there either before I headed out or after a night out each day I was in Denver. Lots of seating and comfortable areas to work from and charging stations are everywhere so you can stay powered up. Clean bathrooms were also a plus! People watching here was great and it was easy to find others to spark up a convo with. Seemed like a jumping spot to get your night out started as each night well dressed groups of people flowed in to have drinks or meet up. Definitely a must see/go to place.

Many shops and amenities flank this $500M architecturally appealing renovated structure. Great customer service and great atmosphere to enjoy. Seemingly sufficient lighting for night entertainment around station. Bustling pedestrians entering/exiting surrounding shops. Signals at street intersections all seemed to produce good traffic flow during rush hour around station.

This Union Station is not a dull old building like some train stations. It is lively with food options and very vibrant. The architecture alone is worth a visit. You will find a bar and restaurants something for everyone. The light rail also connects through this station.

I didn't go for the transportation. I went to go to the lounge to get a snack and hang out. The Union Station has a great environment there with a bookstore, bar, pizza shop, ice cream, hotel, etc. They have free Wifi. The couches and nice and the shuffle boards in the middle are a fun easy to play while you hang out. We went there after a meal and hung out for awhile to relax and play. It's an inexpensive place to be at while in Denver. I recommend it.

My recent visit to Union Station in Denver was nothing short of spectacular, and it deserves every bit of this 5-star review. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the station's rich history and stunning architecture.

Union Station stands as a testament to Denver's historical significance and architectural grandeur. Originally opened in 1881, the station has witnessed the growth and transformation of the city over more than a century. Walking through its halls, you can almost hear the echoes of the past – the bustling crowds of early 20th-century travelers, the whistles of old steam locomotives, and the quiet moments of soldiers bidding farewell to loved ones.

The meticulous restoration of Union Station is a marvel in itself. The preservation of its historic elements, such as the grand Beaux-Arts facade and the iconic "Travel by Train" neon sign, seamlessly blend with modern touches, creating a perfect harmony between old and new. The interior is a feast for the eyes, with its soaring ceilings, ornate moldings, and elegant chandeliers that harken back to an era of opulence and sophistication.

One of the highlights of my visit was the Great Hall, a magnificent space that serves as the heart of the station. The Great Hall’s grandeur, with its majestic windows allowing natural light to pour in, provides a perfect setting to sit back and soak in the atmosphere. The beautiful blend of marble and wood, coupled with the vibrant hustle and bustle of travelers and locals alike, made it an unforgettable experience.

I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the design and restoration process. Every corner of Union Station tells a story, from the original ticket windows that now serve as unique dining spaces to the historical artifacts displayed throughout the station. The blend of historical preservation with contemporary amenities offers visitors a chance to enjoy the past while experiencing modern comforts.

Union Station is not just a transportation hub; it is a vibrant gathering place filled with a variety of dining and shopping options. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick coffee, a leisurely meal, or simply browsing through the unique shops, there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is lively, yet there are plenty of spots where you can find a quiet corner to relax and watch the world go by.

In conclusion, Union Station in Denver is a remarkable landmark that beautifully encapsulates the city's history and architectural beauty. My visit was a delightful journey through time, and I left with a deep appreciation for the efforts taken to preserve this iconic structure. Whether you're a history buff, an architecture enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique place to visit, Union Station is a must-see destination that will leave you in awe.

Many of the metropolitan city’s train stations are close to gross or filthy most of the times. Denver’s union station is by far the most well restored, organized and charming station i’ve been to! Not too touristy and yet has all the necessary restaurants and shops for visitors!
