Kiss and Ride street signs take you to the wrong place. They direct you back to Eisenhower Ave, you actually turn into the parking area. Otherwise an easy to access, fairly sleepy station.

Our traveling crew of almost 20 people was having difficulty figuring out a course of action for getting to our hotel upon arrival to Van Dorn (due to miscommunication when planning our DC trip). The station manager, Anthony Hawkins, greeted us with a smile, a great personality, and helpfulness. He went the extra mile to ensure we weary travelers had what we needed, and we happily arrived to our hotel shortly afterward. What an awesome guy! Someone should give this guy a raise.

I have been using the metro station since 2009 and never had any issues. Staff is always pleasant. Escalators are working properly. Metro station is well lit, clean, and located in a very nice and quit neighborhood.

We tried metro for the first time. The address google suggests takes you to nowhere, you have to take a turn to metro road to reach to park and ride. From there you can access the station. The staff was helpful, he showed us how to make a smart trip card and load money to it. Not a buzy station

Very, very easy to maneuver DC with. Took us some time, with help, to figure out the vending machines for the cards. The pictures posted are not of Van Dorn, but it gives you an idea of what to expect. Van Dorn is above ground platform.

Van Dorn is a terrible metro squeezed between a busy street and the railroad tracks of CSX. There's nothing around this metro and it's quite a hike to the nearest businesses.

Needs serious maintenance everything is rusted. Tiles are cracked and weeds are growing on platform. Benches need to be replaced.
