Visited for first time. Immediately engaged upon entering the store by Jake the co-owner. Jake answered all of our questions, but for above and beyond service, he gave us additional (no cost) insights and feedback about the business. We bought gift cards - the observant Jake however noticed the weather and that my wife and I were on foot, walking. He offered a small bag he had on had to further protect the cards. The store is large. Huge selection of wools, and wool accessories for knitting and crocheting. Gone by there many times and had no idea about it until referred there today by a friend. Great store great service - will go back again for sure and will definitely tell others. My wife just called… “lets go back and get another card…” So we’re off to the store before it closes for the day. 😊

I placed 2 separate orders online. The first took over a week to pack/ship and was missing an item. The store attached the same tracking number for the second order so it shows as delivered but has not arrived. There was a period of time when I was unable to reach anyone and my emails were going unanswered but I’ve since spoken to someone and it seems the error is being resolved and so I’ve revised this review to reflect my experience.

They do a really nice job of packing up orders and the wool was wrapped to protect it from moisture in shipping.

I followed instructions on how to start my return by contacting them via email for shipping information. I only had 30 days. I never received a response and it’s been at least a month now. I never got my return of $160+. Will never shop here again.

Very welcoming, nice lay out. Found what I went for. Very friendly and knowledgeable lady. Wide variety of specialty and everyday yarns. Quality accessories for all you need for knitting/crocheting. Good selection of buttons.

Placed an order February 7, one month later and still waiting for it, no confirmation of shipping or answer to my emails. I specifically look for a Canadian store and this is what I am getting. Hopefully somebody will take the time to answer if I leave a bad review here, very dissatisfied.

Finally got my yarn the first week of April.

Website states that Wool Trends is open today from 11am until 4:30pm. Went out of my way to get there today, walked the icy path from parking lot to the back entrance with my cane, only to discover that they closed yesterday Dec 20th, and reopening sometime next week. Not impressed.

Very helpful and pleasant under new ownership. Great stock. Big plus was Jake wound my skein on their winders. I'll definitely be back.
